Gel Blaster Maintenance Guide

Keep Your Gel Blaster Running Smoothly

Your gel blaster is designed to provide hours of fun when it's cared for properly. Following a few simple maintenance practices can significantly improve its performance, extend its lifespan, and help prevent unnecessary issues.

1. Empty the Magazine After Every Use

Always remove any remaining gel balls from the magazine once you're finished playing. Leaving hydrated gel balls inside for long periods can cause them to swell, soften, or break apart, which may lead to feeding issues or unnecessary stress on the magazine and internal components.

Best Practice: Empty the magazine completely before storing your gel blaster.

2. Avoid Using Fast Chargers

Only use the charger supplied with your gel blaster or a standard 5V USB charger. Fast chargers are designed for devices that support high-speed charging and may deliver more power than your battery is designed to handle.

Using a fast charger can:

  • Reduce battery lifespan

  • Cause the battery to heat up excessively

  • Affect long-term battery performance

Best Practice: Charge your battery with a standard charger for safe and reliable performance.

3. Don't Overcharge the Battery

Overcharging can shorten the battery's life over time. Keep an eye on the charging indicator and disconnect the battery once charging is complete.

Most gel blaster batteries take around 2 hours to charge, depending on the model. Charging is complete when the indicator LED turns green or switches off (varies by charger model).

Best Practice: Unplug the battery as soon as it reaches a full charge.

Keep Your Gel Blaster in Top Condition

A few minutes of maintenance after each session can make a big difference. By emptying the magazine, using the correct charger, and avoiding overcharging, you'll enjoy smoother performance, better reliability, and a longer-lasting gel blaster.

Taking proper care of your equipment ensures it's always ready for your next game.
